Sharing data on glo is as easy as recharging airtime, all you need is to have an active data plan – your data plan subscription that still has data in it and have not expired and of course the glo phone number of the person you want to share your data with. If you have all that you can go ahead and share your data with them.

Just dial *777#. You’ll have options that will be displayed to you;

Select 1 – Buy Data
Select 4 – Share Data Plan
Select 1 – Share

At this point ‘ Enter Subscriber’s Number ‘ – input correctly the glo phone number of the person you want to share your data with and press send/ok.

Another way of sharing your glo data is dialing; *127*01*[Recipient’s phone number]#

E.g. if the phone number of the person you want to share your data with is 080XXXXXXXX then dial *127*01*080XXXXXXXX#

You can also do this via text message by sending; Share [Recipient’s phone number] to 127

E.g type in your message ‘Share 080XXXXXXXXX’ and send to 127. You’ll be notified immediately of your successful sharing of data.

All the above methods work, choose any one you like for sharing your glo data.

At a point you might want to cancel or unshare your data with someone, it means stopping them from accessing the internet with your own data. To do this just dial *777#

Select 1 – Buy Data
Select 4 – Share Data Plan
Select 2 – Unshare

Enter the Phone Number of the person you want to stop sharing your data with and press send/ok.

Another way of doing this is by dialing; *127*02*[the person’s phone number]#.

If the phone number of the person you want to remove from your data shring list is 080XXXXXXXX
Then dial *127*02*[080XXXXXXXX]#

You can also do this via text message by sending; Remove [the person’s phone number] to 127.

E.g send ‘Remove [080XXXXXXXX]’ to 127. Doing this will stop them from sharing your data till you add them back.
