How to borrow mtn data
Mtn is the largest telecom network service in Nigeria with over 60 million subscribers. They have over the years provided lots of amazing offers and services that have made them stand out and always ahead of their competitors and at the same time satisfy and make life easier for their customers.
They first introduced the mtn xtratime, a service that allows you to borrow airtime whenever you run low on airtime and then pay back later. Now to make life much easier and satisfying, they now introduced the mtn xtrabyte.
This is a service which allows you to borrow data from mtn and then pay back later using your airtime in your next recharge. This simply means you can have data even when you don’t have airtime at that moment to buy and then pay back later.
If you don’t have data and airtime and you would like to borrow just dial *606#, select 2 ( Borrow Data) and then select any data option displayed to you depending on the one you want. The data options displayed to you depend on how often you buy data from mtn.
If you are a regular data subscriber, you’ll be eligible for more and higher data options. All the data options that’ll be displayed to you have their price tag besides each of them, that’s the airtime cost of each data and anyone one that you borrow the airtime will be deducted from your airtime in your next recharge.
You can borrow as many times as you want until you reach your limit, once you reach your limit you won’t be able to borrow again until you pay your outstanding data debt.
That’s how to borrow data from mtn, if you have borrowed data from mtn and want to know your remaining xtrabyte balance now follow through to our main topic below which is how to check mtn borrowed data balance to find out how.
